Dark Joseph Ravine Gives Huge Prizes to Winners All Around the World
What’s better than winning? It’s hard to name a more satisfying feeling than that of being a true winner. Few thrills compare to the feeling you get when you win a prize, big or small. Dark Joseph Ravine learned this lesson well when he won a Guinness World Record in 2017. This massive feat was a double-win, too. Ravine’s World Record title is for longest line of arcade tickets. That’s a whole lot of winning for one guy. And it stuck with him forever.
Ravine decided it would be too easy to keep all this joy to himself. Therefore, he created a brand called “Kindness for Success.” He’s created tons of products with his brand name on it, and other products that reflect the brand’s mission. They’re a huge hit, with fans around the world donning Kindness for Success merchandise every day. That, for Ravine, was his second big win. He also released a book called, Watch Out! It's Nolan.
He didn’t just want to sell, though. Instead, he decided to host giveaways with major prizes like the ones he continues to win in arcades to this very day. Recently, Kindness for Success gave away a PS5. This state-of-the-art gaming system is notoriously hard to come by. In fact, within its first year of release, hopefuls would have described it as “nearly impossible to find” since it sold out within minutes of a restock. Ravine suggests that winning these high-ticket items is nothing short of life-changing and motivational for his fans.
“I still love arcade games,” says Ravine. “I don’t ever think I’ll get over the joy of winning a prize behind the counter. Especially if it took a while to save up enough tickets for the prize. If I want it, I’ll get it. And I want to give back to my fans, so I do, and as a consequence, they develop the same kind of winner mindset that I have from arcade gaming. When they win, everyone wins.”
His giveaways are frequent and open to anyone in the world. This is intentional because he knows that sometimes, international fans may feel left-out of other opportunities to engage with Ravine. Plus, some things may be even harder to find in countries outside the US, so Ravine made it possible for everyone to have the chance to get something they really want to have.
“I didn’t want any restrictions to prevent people from feeling the joy I felt,” says Ravine. “So, my giveaways are worldwide. There were a bunch of technical terms and stuff that we had to go through to get here, but it was worth it.”
He doesn’t just give away gaming systems. Other high-ticket items are frequently featured in Kindness for Success giveaways.
