Sommsation Brought Exclusive Wine Experience to Park City’s Premier Film Festival

Sommsation, the leading online wine marketplace and experience curator, once again brought its distinguished "Sommsation Wine Lounge" to Park City, offering an elevated hospitality experience during the renowned independent film festival. Over the course of four days, VIP guests and attendees indulged in exclusive wine tastings within a refined, intimate setting.
For its 2025 edition, the Sommsation Wine Lounge relocated to Lower Main Street, operating from January 24–27 as a pop-up hospitality venue. This marked the third consecutive year of Sommsation’s highly anticipated presence at the festival, with this year’s event taking place at Jackson’s Hideaway Ski Lounge at 900 Main Street.
Attendees had the opportunity to savor a thoughtfully curated selection of wines available through Sommsation’s platform, which connects independent wineries and sommeliers with wine enthusiasts worldwide. The experience featured sommelier-led tastings from renowned producers such as Three Sticks Wines, Terratorium Wines, Halter Ranch Winery, and Alexana Winery, complemented by an array of gourmet meats and cheeses.
In addition to tastings, the lounge hosted an exciting lineup of exclusive events. The Sommsation Après Ski event offered VIP media and industry professionals an invitation-only preview of the venue, complete with bespoke tastings and culinary pairings. The Grand Culinary Evenings showcased ultra-premium and reserve wines, accompanied by live chef demonstrations and luxury food pairings. Adding to the festival’s dynamic nightlife, the “Vines & Vinyl” After-Hours Parties immersed guests in a lively atmosphere featuring champagne receptions, independent wine tastings, and live performances by DJ Joune, the internationally acclaimed DJ affiliated with the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club.

One of the standout moments of the weekend was the PowerFlix Launch Party, celebrating the debut of a groundbreaking technology platform aimed at transforming film distribution for independent filmmakers. Led by industry veterans Robert Schwartzman and Cole Harper, this initiative highlighted Sommsation’s dedication to supporting independent creators—both in the wine and film industries—through innovative distribution solutions.
Beyond its lounge, Sommsation played a pivotal role as the official wine partner for the three-day Rendezvous Cinema Center, situated nearby on Lower Main Street. This collaboration provided VIP casts and filmmakers with an exceptional wine experience as they celebrated film premieres. Among the featured films was Atropia, starring notable talent. The Rendezvous Cinema Center also hosted the WeAudition annual gathering, which attracted actors, industry executives, and creative professionals.
Additionally, Sommsation provided wine for Collider’s Annual Interview Studio, an exclusive press venue within the Rendezvous Cinema Center. This studio welcomed some of the festival’s most prominent filmmakers and actors, including Juliet Lewis, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco, Alison Brie, Ben Whishaw, and Rebecca Hall. The Collider Studio also leveraged its platform to raise awareness and funds for wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles.
"We were thrilled to once again welcome festival-goers to the Sommsation Wine Lounge in Park City,” said Sommsation CEO Danielle Diliberti. “It was an honor to share the world’s best independent wines with film lovers, wine aficionados, and celebrated industry professionals seeking a premium hospitality experience."
