Missy Elliott continues to solidify her status as a hip-hop legend with a major milestone. The iconic rapper recently became the third female rapper in history to earn over $2 million from a single concert, further cementing her position in the music industry.
According to Touring Data, Elliott joined the ranks of Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj, both of whom have previously achieved this feat. The record-breaking moment took place on August 8, 2024, during her "Out of this World Tour" at the Capital One Arena in Washington, where she grossed $2.050 million.
The tour, announced in April, marked Elliott’s first-ever headlining tour. She was accompanied by fellow artists Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland, delivering unforgettable performances across 24 cities. Special guest Lil Kim also made appearances, performing their iconic collaborations, including “The Jumpoff” and “Not Tonight (Ladies Night).” The tour kicked off in Vancouver and concluded in Rosemont, Illinois, on August 22, 2024.
