Mercedes-Benz Unveils Custom Electric G-Class for 2024 League of Legends World Championship
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a custom electric G-Class as the official Trophy Carrier for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship, solidifying its partnership with Riot Games. The tournament will travel across Berlin, Paris, and London, culminating in the Final at London’s O2 Arena in November.
The bespoke G-Class, customized through the Mercedes-Benz MANUFAKTUR program, is equipped with the League of Legends Worlds logo on the headrests and a specially designed trunk module for safely transporting the Summoner’s Cup. Beyond the Trophy Carrier, Mercedes-Benz collaborated with Riot Games to create exclusive championship rings for the winning team, adding prestige to the esports event.
Bettina Fetzer, Mercedes-Benz’s VP of Communications and Marketing, highlighted the brand’s commitment to creating "memorable moments" for fans, in line with the tournament’s motto, "Make Them Believe."
As T1 and their star player Faker aim to defend their title, Mercedes-Benz continues to blend automotive innovation with the excitement of one of the world’s biggest esports events.
